A farewell/new beginning

This blog marks a special day in our history. From today two huge things are happening with Popsicle.

1. The Farewell

Matthew Lomax and I both started freelancing around 6 years ago. Matthew began freelancing under the name of ‘Popsicle Productions‘. As Matthew’s freelancing career progressed, more and more we found ourselves working with one another on a project-by-project basis. We got to a place where every single project we worked on, we worked on together. It was from there that that marked the basis to buddy up, join forces and start a company together: Popsicle Productions Ltd.

Popsicle has strived, gone from strength to strength and come so far since then. The quality of our videos both technically and creatively have improved immensely - and it’s been a great experience.

Unfortunetly, Matthew has decided to move on. To greener pastures and Popsicle as a company, and I myself can’t thank him enough for everything he’s done for the company and for me, personally.

Thank you so much Matt, I honestly wish you all the best!

2. The New Beginning

From farewells, we have new beginnings. With Matthew leaving this brings Popsicle to the grand total of one, me, myself and I: Jack Noon.

Popsicle will continue to strive for excellence in everything we do. We (the Popsicle ‘we’) will continue to create and craft better and more visually engaging videos in every way we know how. Since Popsicle began Matthew and I had part time ‘real jobs’ and it’s only from this new beginning that I’m able to say loud and proud that I will be dedicating 100% to Popsicle and moving away from ‘real-wordly jobs’ and going all-in to Popsicle: full-time.

It’s exciting, it’s scary, it’s a hell of a jump but I intend to make the leap and make it a good one.

With the support of my clients, old and new and the network of freelancers/co-workers and everyone inbetween all around me I know Popsicle is only gonna get bigger and better with every step.

Here’s to that. Cheers! 🍻
